The error.log is also often used to log debug messages as well as actual error messages. Plugins record the install progrress as well in the error.log file. Looks like it successfully installed glMessenger.

Ah!

I found my log file on my server. I was looking for it in a directory, but they have it as an icon further down the main page. Doh!

Ok.

This error has been repeated over and over again. It comes up everytime when I click on the private messages menu in the side block.
I am new to this and do not know much about programming, but this doesn't look like it has anything to do with glMessenger. Unless there is some sort of conflict? I don't know?

Hope this helps.

Agree - this is from glMenu and an image that is referenced is not found. The expected location is in the error message. Verify that this directory and the rest of the theme related files from the glMenu plugin archive have been copied to your sites professional theme and any other theme you want to use glMenu with.

This may also be why glMessenger is not rendering the page correctly - you need to copy over the plugins related theme (template) files as per the installation notes.

If anyone is thinking of purchasing the glMessenger I highly recommend it.
It looks very good and the adding of smilies is so much easier.

Thanks again Blaine for your help.

I can now go on holiday, in a couple of hours, stress free.

Thank you.
