Hi Blaine,
I'm testing your great new version and I wondering how to change the dates format in :
- Last Post on the forum index page
- Last Post on the forum page (/index.php?forum=x) and on-hover tooltip
- Registered on the viewtopic page
With forum/config.php format change only in :
- Forum block & center block
- Header on viewtopic page
::Ben

You have 2 options:
1) Enable the site option to use the USER preference for the date/time stamps which can often really mess up the layout
2) Visit the plugin config.php where you can set the prefered format - see the readme notes as well.

It's what I have done but there is not change in :
> Last Post on the forum index page
> Last Post on the forum page (/index.php?forum=x) and on-hover tooltip
> Registered on the viewtopic page
Changes are only in :
> Forum block & center block
> Header on viewtopic page

No worries - and no need to bang your head
Thanks for reporting the issue - I will investigate and include that in my next release.

It will be beneficial for the users to be able to navigate to a specified category. Currently you can only view all categories in one page with the forums, but not if you want to view only a single category, or if you want to give a link to someone that points to a single category. Am I right?
