In the calendar plugins config.php - should be there.

$_CA_CONF['eventsubmission'] = 0; // Will require new events to be submitted but require admin to approve.

$_CA_CONF['hidecalendarmenu'] = 1; // Don't show calendar menu item in header.

Ah hah! While in there I realized why my event was not showing up. The event was more than 14 days in the future so I changed that to a higher number.

I also was able to hide the personal calendar there with a 0.

There's still one problem... When anyone looks at the event, someone logged in or even anonymous, at the top of the event page, right under the title, there are still link options for 'add an event' and 'back to calendar' How can I lose those?

Thanks!

Hi again... I was experimenting a little bit. I did find in event.php this code... I commented out those two lines that you can see commented out. The links disappeared, but the brackets that were around the links are still there. What would I do to remove those too? Thanks again!

PHP Formatted Code
    $cal_templates = new Template($_CONF['path'] . 'plugins/calendar/templates/');
    $cal_templates->set_file (array (
            'events'    => 'events.thtml',
            'details'   => 'eventdetails.thtml',
            'addremove' => 'addremoveevent.thtml'
            ));

    // $cal_templates->set_var ('lang_addevent', $LANG_CAL_1[6]);
    // $cal_templates->set_var ('lang_backtocalendar', $LANG_CAL_1[15]);
    if ($mode == 'personal') {
        $cal_templates->set_var ('calendar_mode', '&mode=personal');
    } else {
        $cal_templates->set_var ('calendar_mode', '');
    }

    $result = DB_query($datesql);
    $nrows = DB_numRows($result);

You may want to check the template files that are referenced in the $cal_templates->set_file stmt. These files contain the HTML that is used for the page.

Hi Blaine... Thanks... Where is that located exactly? I'm looking through the folders and just not sure where this is. Also, once I edit that, would I change what I did above back? The commenting out those 2 lines?

Thanks again!

The code above already shows you the path and names for the templates

PHP Formatted Code

$cal_templates = new Template($_CONF['path'] . 'plugins/calendar/templates/');
$cal_templates->set_file (array (
            'events'    => 'events.thtml',
            'details'   => 'eventdetails.thtml',
            'addremove' => 'addremoveevent.thtml'
