I get this error alle the time, I have trayed to read alle the topics about this but nothing helps.

My headermenu.css and blockmenu.css file is 777 but the site don't make the menu.css file and the site don't change colour

Are you certain the perms are really 777 as I've seen FTP programs report the wrong perms. If this is a hosted site, you should check with the cpanel filemanager. Also you may need to set the perms for the directories to allow the correct access.

That error is the error being reported back to PHP when it attempts to open the file for writing.

Now I have check the files whit 2 ftp programs and the say 777.

I have traded to set the cssmenu folder to 777 but it still don't work

Can I edit the headermenu.css manual and then upload it to get it to work, if I change color in the config page the color changes in the small square next to it, but nothing happens in the menu.

Are your permission related errors gone now?
Make sure you are selecting the correct theme as well.

No I still get the error, I only have pro theme on the site. I have olso traded default but nothing helps
