Hi,

I installed the latest IE8 and surprise surprise a bunch of things no longer work (I mean lots of webpages, not just Geeklog related).

My glMenu problem is the same as reported here on the Geeklog website:

http://www.geeklog.net/forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=86709

A solution is listed there, but firstly I thought I'd ask here whether that's the recommended way.

Cheers,
Brett

Guess I'll implement that solution then.

IE8 can be forced into IE7 mode for users that visit your site.

Add this META tag to your header.html file = it needs to be the first META tag and preferably right after right after the < head > tag.

PHP Formatted Code

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

But that would change the whole site setting I would assume?

I'd assume it's better to go with the small mod in the link wouldn't it? I think I'll give this a try.
