I am using Filemgmt 1.5.3 with Geeklog 1.5.2sr4

I can add new files without problem.
If I try to replace a file with an updated version, I click on Edit in the File listing, then click Browse (next to replacement file) and select the same file on my computer (a spreadsheet which has been updated) and click on the submit button
I then get the message "Database Updated Successfully" but when I then download it from Geeklog, it is still the old file.
Also, on the disk the file date and time has not changed.

Any pointers?
Thanks

The updated file needs to have a different file name. I fell for that one several times myself ...

bye, Dirk

That works

BUT.......

surely you are not "updating" the existing file, you are in effect uploading a new file because it has a different file name.
I would like to keep the same file name each time because that is the file I update (in this case it is an internal telephone directory).

Is this possible?
