I have upgraded from RC2 (or 3?) to RC4 and a post with code including slashes has now all slashes 4 times instead of 3. No database upgrade was done (or was that necessary?)

I replaced all files. I had only setup the forum short time before so only one post was affected which I corrected manually.

No database updates required. Are you seeing the slash issue only with one post - any new posts?

May be caused by the fact there are now so many slashes in the content.

I upgraded from RC3 to 4 the bb img tags don't work anymore. I got a SQL error when I changed settings at admin/plugins/forum/settings.php. error.log showed A column called post_htmlmode was missing. so I added it. Don't know if thats the problem. All other bb code tags appear to work.

The settings field post_htmlmode has been part of the v2.6 release since the beginnning. The reason the img tag is not working is a forum config.php setting. It's disabled by default now.

PHP Formatted Code

    $CONF_FORUM['allow_img_bbcode'] = false;
